    "Ross wont budge"

Is there ever a day that goes by where you cant not take a cheap shot at Ross?

Since you like to take shots at Dale's credibility, lets look at what is going on here.

It looks to me like Bill/JAAB has a certain "hit list" of Judges they are after and that is it. If either Judge Ross, O'connor, Aleman, and the others JAAB/Bill rails against did this you know they would be moving to have them stripped of their position immediately.
JAAB calls in the Chief Justice and the press against Ross for silly comments yet stil stays silent on Judge Korda?
It is all a double standard, Bill if one of your clients was fired or suspended from their job because of an allegation of possesion of pot you would be livid. Judge Ross in this case decides to leave Judge Korda alone for now and its said "he wont budge".
You have been critical of a number of Judges conduct none of which have come close to breaking the law. Now we have a Judge who appers to have broken the law and you stand mute.

So where do you/jaab stand on this?

    hey mike,
if any of those other judges you mention "did this" on a Sunday (now understand that "did this" refers to being found spending a Sunday afternoon sitting in a park under a tree, smoking a joint), So, you mean one of THOSE judges you named smoking a joint? And you think JAAB would be mad? If betting were legal, I'd place a few on JAAB being kind of pleased at the enlightened prospect. (Just a pipe dream though).

Judge Ross has not moved any judge in the past with JQC issues. The only one moved was Aleman. All the others survived JQC scrutiny, and they were not moved. Maybe Aleman is the sacrificial lamb?

Again you defend Dale Ross and attack JAAB. You are more to be pitied than scorned where you have to use this blog to make try and make friends and make a name for yourself. The only name you are making for yourself is a kiss-ass who wants a date with Date Ross.

Mike, I'll try to respond in depth later, but the short answer is that I don't know this guy (since I do almost 100% criminal work) like I do all the others I have commented on. If he's a bully though, he should be removed, and, frankly, if he was really smoking a joint in front of kids ANYWHERE, not to mention IN PUBLIC, he should be gone since these actions exhibit that he no longer has the skills to exercise sound judgement (like we expect from judges).

Get some sack and put your name on your post. I didnt attack JAAB, I simply asked what their position was in light of the positions they have taken against other Judges.

I was not kssing ass to Judge Ross, but to take a cheap shot everytime his name is mentioned is not needed either.

    To Bill:

Thank you for the reply. Again based on your previous positions regarding Judges I was curious of your position here.

On another note, lets be serious, if Ross had removed Korda you would have ripped him for treating him as if he was guilty before guilt or innocence was determined.

Everyone who talks about you says your a kiss-ass, I am just publishing public sentiment.

To each his own, I would rather be a kiss ass then a spineless wuss who has to hide behind a pseudonym.

Ross has problems of his own right now. Sounds like the Broward Judiciary is what it is. A bunch of cronies circling the wagons every time one of them steps in it. Only now it sounds like a few indians are beginning to get through. Ross for the sake of Broward needs to give somebody else a chance.

Mr. Ahearn, you are a citadel of male complacency. Ross needs to retire and give somebody else a chance. After all, he's responsible for all this.

    hey Mike,

what's with you and all this talk about guy's "sacks"? Can you please put your mind on something else?

OK you said it. I agree I am a "spineless wuss" and you are a proud, self admitted kiss-ass. I rest my case.

Ahh muse most likely that is first time you ever "rested a case". Your type are the meet'em and plea em variety.

Lets look at this a moment....

Bill/Jaab set this Blog up as a place where people could say ANYTHING they wanted about the Broward Judiciary. It think it's fair to say they did this because they felt that the powers that be worked to stifle talk which oppesed their views.
I merely express my views about the Broward Judiciary, yes contrary to JAAB/Bill, but there is no prohibition against that. Bill questions authority and in turn I at times question him.

Then you turn around and take cheap shots at me. So in turn are you any better then the alleged powers that be around here who Bill/Jaab claim want to muzzle public opinion?

Who is muzzling anything. I am expressing my opinion that I think you are nothing more than a kiss ass. You are the first to come to the aid of Ross, who is nothing more than a sarcastic bully. You remind me of the teachers pet who stays after school and runs to the teacher to tattle on other students. Instead of running to a teacher, you run to the blog and complain about Bill or whoever complains about Ross.

ROSS IS A CHEAP SHOT. SHORT OF THE MARK CONSISTENTLY AND JUST PLAIN STUPID. WHERE DOES THIS GUY GET OFF THINKING HE'S A BEACON OF KNOWLEDGE?

Ross will do anything to save his own political hide. Including sacrifice Korda or anybody. He never lets it be forgotten either.
