How come Ross didn't go into his usual damage control mode? Why did they give up Charlie so quickly? What's going on?
“In my mind it was clearly a racial epithet,” Kulik said. “Greene was in the prosecutor’s office with me at the same time. I’m sure he heard it in the same way I heard it. It is disappointing to me he would repeat a thing like that after all those years. You certainly would never hear a phrase like that in a trial involving white people or wealthy people.”
Careful Kevin. He who speaks the truth around here gets all their SPDs taken away. Oh wait, they don't control that anymore. We are finally free, even if we don't have as much spending money anymore. I wonder if judges will still be taking trips to Vegas with attorneys as much as they used to?
Greene sounds more CYA than contrite in his letter
The comments by Kulik and Iziquierdo in the Daily Business Review just make me laugh. You guys are idiots. Little red head guy--- you're playing in a big mans world now. Kiss up to the judge in the media... but we know that if your cronies in the faux committee of "Broward for a Better Judiciary" were sitting on this one you'd be crucifying Greene and not pacifying the situation. You've learned well from your mentor Bradford (cohen).
Can this signal a return to Judicial Responsibility and Honor? We will see. It is but a small step toward bringing to the attention of the pubic a very deep problem facing the Broward Judiciary and we that work within the Justice System. Prejudice and bias have no place in our society and that which has been exhibited by the exposure of this most recent event can be seen as nothing else but evidence of just that; being uttered by one whom considered himself to be above reproach and quite frankly entirely too comfortable in a position that he somehow forgot is ultimately to be guided by conscience and honor. New standards must be implemented as the tide changes sweeping out along with it judges that place themselves above doing what represents sincerity, honor and justice. Greene is but a gross example of the consequences of those judges that forget the purpose of their office.

If a trial were had in re this matter concerning the truthfulness of Greene's statement that he didn't know NHI had any racial implications, I'm confident he'd be found Guilty of Perjury. But thats a determination to be made by the JQC.
Yeah. His pallid attempt to through in as a mitigator to his actions his having been the subject of racial discrimination when young is illustrative of how deeply stained his sense of sorrow is for having committed this outrage. Where honor should reside, there is but a void.
What a piece of work this guy is. He worked in the state attorneys ofice and never knew the racial meaning of NHI ? Yeah. Right.
I just want to know how any attorney can have faith, knowing what we know now, in any ruling this guy will ever come up with? Nobody can ever have any real confidence in the guy again. The question will always be there.

Ross will try to patch things up for him, but he'll always as long as he's around be wearing a torn robe.
To call this a "suicide note" is highly insensitve and shows the poor judgment used by the poster of that comment. Suicide is a serious issue as anyone with mentally ill clients would and SHOULD know.
In line with the recent standard procedure of this county I believe that the person who titled the link as such should be publicly flogged by Howard Finkelstein in front of the courthouse.
Mental Health is nothing to joke about.
I'll take the flogging. I'll take one every day. So long as I don't have to do 50 jail visits a week....
I'm just waiting to hear about the Family Judges next! Thats the real issue here.... My advice is "never join the PreLegal membership" especially if your a father who pays child support... they don't help. In fact they know the Broward Family judges so well that they actually have co-authored books together.... so do you homework before you hire them for 20.00 a month!
