Strong buzz around the courthouse this morning that Ana Gardiner will assume the position of Administrative Judge for the Criminal Division, recently vacated by Judge Greene. The announcement is expected to be made shortly. Stay tuned...

Her administrative skills should bring some degree of sanity to the process. Anyone is better than Greene!

This sounds like the first change of many coming down the pike. Look out, this place may have just started its journey into the 21st Century and out of the dark age of secrecy and judicial politics. Well, maybe. Its got a long way to go to catch up.

Michael Satz was the Godfather to one of her kids. Former North Broward Hospital District Member. Very close to Ross. Great move for Dale. He appoints a Hispanic American to the post and still maintains control.
The State has a wall filled with their ROC Court/HOQ/PRR convictions (booking photos) which they "show off" to the world.
She will continue to deny defense motions, however, she is not as arrogant and nasty as Judge Greene.
If you have a juvenile and/or non-HOQ client, he/she still gets hammered. HOQ is discretionary, however, she always agrees to habitualize the African American Defendants.
Stiill the better choice than Greene.
Greene was a hammer for the state, as is Gardiner. The difference is that Greene was an arrogant, elitist putz while Gardiner is approachable and will listen to ideas to improve this place.

Ana Gardiner is a fraudulent lying joke of a jurist since she took over for Rob Carney in 1998, another one just like her. She's a vagina with Hispanic roots that give her 2 big minority hits for promotion despite her limited capacity and total diatain and ignorance of the law as written and decided, the Rules of Court, Rule of law, the states lawful appellate postconviction processes and constitutional right to access to the courts and starte on 3 occassions that she will only do what the prosecutor, Scott Raft tells her to do showing clear bias and prejudice to violate her sworn and fiduciary duty to fairly and impartially decide cases. In fact she colluses and conspires with Raft and the Bwd State Attys office to unlawfully delay and sabotage Florida's lawful processes, them selves and when finally forced to make a decision, summarily and REPEATEDLY LIES in her opinions to give the appearance of harmless error for her unlawful and unconstitutional actions, and Dale Ross and Michael Satz's office protect her as does the AAGs and the judges in the 4th DCA--particuarly George Shahood and Larry Klein and Carole Talor and Martha Warner, who have stated intheir own separate opinions that she is not only violating due process and equal protection of law, Rule 3.850 and also R. Jud. Admin 2,050(f) with Dale Ross' blessing in refusing to control his judges to fo their lawful duty.
No wonder she gets the big promotion--she's proven herself to be corrupt enough to get Ross's support and the 4th DCA's support to break the law because she can be depended upon to do that.
We get it already. Talk about something new already. Like whether convictions obtained in a courtroom where the prosecutor and judge may have been in bed together will have to be vacated.
They should be, but who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters? You certainly can't call on the 17th Judicial Cir or the 4th DCA who routinely pca to avoid stating any conflicting opinion with well establsihed statutory or case law to protect the fraud in Gardiner's and other Broward/Dale Ross courtrooms.
