Ross resigns as Broward's chief judge
Dale Ross will give up the leadership position he has held since 1991 but will remain on the bench.

Noooooooooooooo! Having Lynch would just be a continuation of the same Ross regime! If he gets elected, then nothing has changed in Broward except the name that will be in the news continuously.
This is starting to stink again so soon. TAKE THE JUDICIAL POLITICS OFF THE PLATE and leave it to someone of strength and honor to clean up the mess that is the 17th Circuit. All we don't need at this time is more of the same or worse.
Maybe Gary Cowart can run for the position. Wouldn't that be something.
Where does this leave Sprinkles in all of this?

Tom Lynch is the one and the same judge who in 1984 denied my emergency motion for continuance of a minor MM case (Def not in custody) so that I could attend my favorite Uncle's funeral in Albany NY. My Uncle was a man of substance, a full Professor at SUNY Albany and my cousins have never understood how a Judge could acted with such disdain for human emotion. I was a rookie lawyer at the time, and do not want to see a person missing the gene of empathy as the Chief Judge. We need more not less compassion from our courts.

Are you still an attorney at law, where, and is this the same man (TL)many are still exploring much controversy over as in sketchy association? Could he be the same person, not sure?
