IN RE: Court Jester. Boy, I won't cry for yesterday. Can't we get this behind us? Good article. A short chronicle of the bad missteps of some of our judiciary. Viva, Kelly. I'm glad somebody is picking up on all this. What a shame this place has become.

I remember when Ross took over Goldstein's VOPs. He seemed to take pleasure in whacking people. This article is only the tip of the iceberg, at least the local media no longer seems to be afraid of him.

Great article. I couldn't read the one sent around by Michaelson yesterday.

I thougt Ilona was the only judge that referred to herself in the 3rd person?

"He´s ridden out countless scandals, including allegations by a lawyer that Ross sexually abused her in 1996, a news account that Ross lied about his birthplace, rumors that he abused steroids, and appellate rulings reversing his decisions and calling him pro-prosecution"

Is there a statute of limitations for the JQC?

Cheap, dirty judicial porn. I love it!

I haven't laughed this hard since the DBR piece on blood and guts Ross way back when.

Leave it to Fred Haddad to get his loud mouth into the picture. I'm surprised Carlos Canet didn't find his way into the article too. It seems the both of them have enjoyed whining to the media as of recent. Funny how 2 attorneys with what are probably the most case continuances of anyone in Broward County courtrooms have the nerve to gripe about something wrong.

Gee guess the reporter didnt read the JAAB incorporation docs, Marshall Williams is not just some court observer he is on the board of directors of JAAB. So much for full disclosure. While were at it maybe someone could see how much he made doing work for the PD under Al,especially the billing for video depos where they werent needed.

Good work Ms. Cramer. I quess you did your homework on this one. Don't be intimidated by the big boys, they're just bags of hot air as we've seen. Besides, what they've done to this judicicial cicuit is an outrage!

Read the New Times with my coffee this morning and I've got to say the reporter did well. I'm glad the history is being told. There's so much to be told. These people need to get the picture(s). There's an inexhaustible list of things going back over the years that needs to be brought to light of public scrutiny and I applaud the reporter for her efforts. Thanks JAAB for being the only people to try to do something about this. Obviously the judges are sitting by doing nothing about it.

He's a broken down old relic of the 50's with the same mindset. Shuffle off and let somebody with a bright new mind take the helm. When's he outta there? Cool article in the New Times.

Very funny and very sad at the same time. What kind of legacy does this guy think he's leaving behind as the state's longest chief judge?

He's accomplished what he wanted to do, mess up and use the system and put his daughter in office.

What the article didn't say is that year after the year the judges vote him back in, not to mention that no one ever runs against him. Ross ran against a sitting judge, Chris Roberts, and LOST, before weasling an appointment. Since then no one ever ran against him. Schreiber even protected him.

We all know this, but at least Ms. Cramer reported some of it. Good effort.

Sounds like he's been weasling ever since to. Same way his daughter got the position too. No shame. The system is there for them to use and abuse.

I forgot about Chris. We all know how Dale feels about running against a sitting judge and yet he did it himself.

Just like how he caught a heavy charge when he was young, had it reduced to a misdemeanor, and yet he stills shows no mercy to defendants before him.

    Our leader.

Is this the same Chris Roberts who was finally kicked off the bench/unseated because of his, not 1, not 2, but count 'em 3 DUI's, not counting the many he might have been stopped for but let go because he was a sitting judge? that Chris Roberts?
