The information from Carol Ortman shows only a couple of judges have put in for official leave during the July 3rd Chief Judge election.  Hopefully no one else will put in between now and the election (of course, I don't know if judges can take a day off without telling Court Administration, which would mean no one will be able to tell how many judges plan to be in town on the 3rd).  Wait and see...

    Last time I checked , there were 12 circuit court judges in criminal who do not have dockets with cases set for july 3. In county criminal, there were 5 with no dockets on july 3. 17 of 32 criminal judges do not have a docket that day. That only accounts for the criminal divisions, have not even taken a look at the civil side.
