"This court finds that the failure to consult with the children's prior medical doctors and caretakers, and a careful review of all medical records, which were extensive, and the children's medical history was, in fact, medical neglect," the judge wrote.
"What is apparent to this court is that [DCF officials] came up with a legal theory, i.e. that this was a case of Munchausen by Proxy, a serious form of child abuse, and attempted to substantiate their theory with inaccurate and misleading information," Garcia-Wood wrote.

Good for Judge Garcia-Wood! It's about time someone isn't afraid to speak their mind - for something other than spewing garbage.
To bad they do not have a good judge like this in the ever evolved better than us Dade County where DCF is trying to steal a child away from a father because he lives in Cuba and a rich guy here wants to keep the kid.
Maybe she can serve as a good example to the other judges who blindly rule for the state in every instance.

Finally, a Judge who has done something that is highlighted as a good thing. Thank you Marina, for being one of the few showing it is possible to do right wearing a robe.
She handled this a little differently than Bidwell would have.
