"After spending years as a civil rights activist and police watchdog, Roosevelt Walters knows there are three sides to every story: the officer's, the citizen's, and now, the video camera's.

Fort Lauderdale is fast-forwarding into high-tech tonight, with votes to purchase in-car cameras for 269 of its 350 patrol cars."
