Gardiner slipped up on this one. She had better not in the future pander to who she thinks is in power with such conviction without realizing the consequences. This has branded her with something that can be brought up over and over again. Since officials don't follow the rules, I'm glad this is being brought to the attention of the public. The media (Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel) don't seem to do any reporting of these occurrences by judges and officials so one is left with the impression that they may be part of the problem. I applaud you for making this information public. Good work. The public is being soaked all the time and it should be stopped.

No wonder these judges can't get any work done, they're to busy trying to charm the Broward Commission (not that it take that much sense there all in on the fix) into figuring out a way to build a new courthouse. I guess it was rather embarrassing, the Gardiner Statement about all the lack of space problems within the courthouse turning out to be a big hoot! They'll have to take a different tact now that she got the flypaper stuck to her mouth on that one. Really sticky situation, don't you think, Judge Gardiner? You really have to be careful whose game you're playing next time. Especially when the truth is known. Stay tuned, I'll bet the results continue to roll in at an alarming rate. Had better pack those courtrooms if your want to make a convincing argument the next time. Can't have judges leaving the courthouse at 2:00, can we?

North of the Border Circuit Court Judge Ana Gardiner recently commented that the North of the Border courthouse was overflowing with work, to the extent that even closets weren’t available.
Enter Famed Broward Blogger Bill Geilin who took it upon himself to conduct a thoroughly un-scientific but revealing study by walking the Broward courthouse at different times of the day. The result, was the not so surprising conclusion that during the afternoons more than half the courtrooms were locked and empty.
