How about strapping a poly to some of BACDLs elite and seeing if they ever made a kickback for SPD work?

BACDL elite? They're more concerned about looking for new jobs now that the gravy train was derailed.

That's one I'll miss. Can't they come up with anything more creative from the minds that gave us the Judicial Twilight Zone?

Put Mike's own poly on him. Then ask him questions about corruption in Broward the last 30 years. Or not so Brady evidence. Think the needles will fly?

Wasserstrom another in long line of Hollywood scandals

I read Wednesday's article regarding the upcoming rally to vindicate former Hollywood City Commissioner Keith Wasserstrom and his misgivings. What I found appalling was "he stated he wasn't behind the rally, but felt touched."

In the Oct. 9 article printed in your paper, Wasserstrom stated he emailed people asking them to write to Broward Circuit Judge Joel T. Lazarus and attest to his general character and specifically state the good deeds he performed. Now if this did not orchestrate the rally, what did? Again, another lie!

The city of Hollywood has run amok for the past 15 years with people who held either elected positions or appointed ones and have abused their power. We had a congressman who thought his campaign account was his personal slush fund, a city attorney who paid off his mistress with $50,000 of city funds, a state representative who paid off $46,000 to his mistress, a police chief who resigned because of corruption within the department and now Wasserstrom.

I do hope that Judge Lazarus does not add Wasserstrom to the list in Hollywood of those who can do as they please without fear of punishment. If he does, maybe we should welcome O.J. to Hollywood; he would fit right in.

I wouldn't expect anything else from Lazarus.
