Docket Trak shows he's in prison on 2 burglaries. I guess contempt of court was the least of his problems.

Looks like Cheryl is doing a little tipping of the cocktail glass these days. O'Connor has always looked that way. Three big winners of who's trying to be the biggest fool in the courthouse if you as me. Right now they're in a dead heat for first prize.

Why is it that the BILLog and MARlog and JEFFlog are not focusing on the fact that the so called "contempt expert", CJ Vicky, gave his explicit ok to what G-W did in that secret judge's meeting last weekend, which meeting included input from the ADJ himself.
G-W is a "queen of contempt" but given the approval of her conduct by the ADJ and CJ, they must certainly be kings of contempt.
I second that emotion.
How can any list of "queens of contempt" be complete without including MW?

reporters get their news tips from judges so they are very careful about to much criticism. why didn't the police or the media follow up with judge hauser in orlando after retiring because of his masturbating in front of one of his students. i was in maria's court rm when she sentenced a man to 30 yrs for being drunk and masturbating in front of children. hauser retires and takes his pension. there's justice for u.
12:46 P.M.: Yes, you need to check out Judge Seidman, who likes to threaten incarceration when litigants cannot pay judgments. Holds hearings, makes certain that everyone has been served but threatens incarceration without findings of ability to pay and without setting a purge amount. Also witnessed him threaten jail to defendant in civil case who did not answer discovery. The man was crying, saying he was a registered nurse who had to take care of his ailing father and he begged for several minutes not to go to jail. Judge watched this go on and then said, ok, go to this attorney's office and answer discovery and you won't have to go to jail. Just watch anything scheduled in front of him as a Motion for Contempt.
Let's not forget in criminal how he like to have people handcuffed for being late for hearings. He did this to a defendant who was not late at all and had been present the whole time and whose lawyer stepped out (after being there for the first call-up). Judge got confused and thought the client was late. Nice humiliation for a decent guy (the defendant).
The Sentinel endorsed M G-W, yet they wrote a derogatory article about her right before her robing last year. They wrote about her failure to use her true name when running.... she ran as an hispanic but removed the name GARCIA from the ballot even though that had been her name for over twenty years. (But she has subsequently gone back to using it....not sure she ever stopped using it). They didn't report this before the election.... why not tell the voters? Why did they wait until she was elected to criticize her? I don't recall any of the major papers reporting that she had the lowest bar poll results as a magistrate either. The papers tend to inflame inorder to sell their wares and then leave out details that might hurt them.
How about when Goldstein had the female lawyer thrown out (by BSO) for wearing "culotte skirt"?? How about Judge Wright briefly jailing a PD for asking a question too many times?or Tyson/Coker holding Sandstrom in contempt for not wearing a tie??

Sadly those who complain around here were not around to see when things were much worse. They think that world began when this blog wass created.
To 4:41 p.m.: Does that mean we have to keep silent, just because things were much worse in the past? Possibly, some of our current judges think that they are enlightened, just because they are better than some who came before them. I believe that some of them actually READ this blog and learn from it. So, keep blogging everyone.
All the old dipsticks will be disappearing in the next few years and their proteges will be marginalized. The young blog generation judges will be running the show soon, like grown-ups as opposed to narcissists with low self-esteem.

That's pretty laughable, given that they know that no matter their reasons for running or their intelligence, heart or qualifications, they will be ripped to shreds by the jealous judge-wannabes on this blog.
The only thing this blog will be doing is DISCOURAGING people for running for judge.
