The good news; and yes there is some - is there is another option for voters to rid the bench of these types of jurists.
Attorneys and individuals can make a report on judges, bypassing the usually worthless state commissions on judicial misconduct.
Reports are verified and made available for others, individually or for media, so others needn't experience the type of justice doled out by certain judges.
Texas attorneys were first to recognize the impact these reports could make - especially during an election year.
Indeed, www.USAjudges.com already helped one judge on the bench eight years and running for reelection, return to private practice, instead.
At long last, attorneys and the general public, fed up with this type of cronyism, now have a more viable option.

In a rare cross-Circuit move, Judge Dale Ross has been appointed to the 1st Disctrict Court of Appeal.
"Judge Ross has just what it takes to complement the inner workings of the 1st," said a spokesman for the Governor's office.
Chief Judge Kahn welcomed the news by firing his gun in the air six times. The extent of the damage to the Courthouse rotunda is not known at this time.
Judge Stacey Ross will fill the 17th Circuit vacancy created by the appointment.

That just proves what the 1st DCA is made of and what it really represents--front line to the S.Ct. so Ross--the bigass abuser of Broward can move up the ladder even after Jaablog got him lowered. His legendary flagrant and reckless disregard for the Rules of Jud Admin in controlling his sub judges and disregard for the rights of defendant now gets to go to a higher level. Who says it doesn't go to the top. And why doesn't the JCQ find violations of the Rules and Canons apply to the likes of Ross--another useless fraudulent oversight administration further protected by the SEnate and Houlse Judicial Committees--Nathan Bond and Speaker Rubio as well as Alex Viallobos and further, the Governor's office and Bill McCollum

Not only did the JQC dismiss the complaint against chief judge Charles Kahn, (“I may be crazy, but I’m da Judge.”) but the JQC has added the additional charges of perjury against District Judge Michael Allen for testifying before the JQC that when he wrote the opinion criticizing Judge Kahn, he did so not out of animosity towards Judge Kahn, but because he believed he was following the law.
Sort of like the old “obstruction of justice” enhancement in Federal Court where if you testified and you were convicted, your sentence was enhanced because you lied. Or perhaps a more apt analogy is, sort of like Soviet Russia where they did anything they wanted to you, because they could.
13 of the 15 Judges of the First DCA (motto “Broward ain’t got nothing on us.” ) filed the complaint against the chief judge for the extra marital affair with the court employee. However, that hasn’t stopped the JQC from dismissing all charges against the Chief Judge and pursuing Judge Allen like he was the second coming of Lyglenson Lemorin.

If they wanted to remove Aleman it would have been easy. But they don't care. Selective, tailor made prosecutions by lame prosecutors to send a message, but never to remove in a case where a criminal law has not been broken. That's the way it is and that's why there are so many lousy egomaniacs populating the bench in Florida.
Here too. The facts enunciate a time-honored rule: Judicial Standards Commissions are not riled by public corruption of a judge, but by the person who has exposed it.

The JCQ ia all about protection of judges--not prosecution.
The Fla Const provides, along with the establishment of the JCQ, remedies for their failures to investigate and so their jobs and steal their handsome salaries in the process.

CAomplaint v. the JCQ are to be had by 2 ways. 1. all judicial members faailures are to be brought to the speaker of the House, and all non-judicial members, like Exec. Dir. Brooke Kennerly who writes all the denials and fraudulently fabricates reasons to the attention of the Governor for firing.
Such complaint against GArdiner , et. al are now IN that process and agains the JCQ are now in process.
