Interesting that JAAB and Gelin take an interest in ousting recently elected minority judges. I find that very interesting and telling.
Whatever happened to going after the establishment and trying to take down the powerful judges? Instead, your collective efforts have attacked two judges that have been on the bench collectively 4 years, and are actually well liked.
It just doesn’t make sense, why Pedro? There has not been one discouraging word on this blog about him – which in all honesty is amazing. Judges are routinely trashed and most are up for re-election – so why go after Pedro – he has no power and is one of the few that works hard.
All the huffing and puffing about change on this blog is just bull. It’s not about change – its about putting people in you want regardless of who you take out. Same goes for Julio – hard working, likable and minority. These two judges were part of the change – also both previous defense attorneys and willing to listen to arguments.
The opportunity was there to run against a judge that made disparaging comments about homosexuals and is routinely rough to deal with – instead you simply bent over – really pitiful.
I for one encourage everyone to back Pedro – not because Bober is not a good candidate – but because of this crap plan and what it stands for – the attack of the neophyte minority judges – I for one am embarrassed – JAAB and Gelin don’t stand for change -they stand for attacking minorities and are only interested in their personal gain.
If people just vote to vote and not research who's name they're putting in office, you all deserve what you get.

I have never had a problem with Dijols or Gonzales... in my past 28 years of practice only 2% of the time have I ever had a problem with the Bench any place or any time
4:37 - what did they have to do with it? Dijols alienated all his former colleagues. You say this:

I think you must mean one of the few that worked extra hard at being a jerk. And in the post Ross world to boot. He made his own bed now he sleeps in it for exercising poor judgement and no self control.

If you think there's racism here then the State Attorney is the problem, not the judges.
I agree with Lady Justice about Gonzalez. He is a great judge and a gentleman. Judge "consecutive sentences" Dijols is clearly a problem though. I hope they run him out of town.

I'm sure if Satz was a minority and recently re-elected they could find someone to run against him.
To Satz's case filers - please ignore these anti satz posts - I for one want more cases filed - The holidays are coming and I could use a litte extra change in my pocket.

Someone should run against Tom Lynch. He may raise money but the right name can beat him easy. His son only got a few hundred votes when he recently ran for a Hollywood position, indicative of Tom's hometown support.

Just in case you didn't know, Bernie Bober is also hispanic; He was born in Cuba. This is not a case of someone trying to unseat a hispanic judge and replace him with a non hispanic. He is also very dedicated, hardworking, and a very qualified attorney. I wish him the best, and hope he wins.
