Broward County: Two Broward judges face challengers for seats
Two attorneys hope to unseat two Broward County judges on Aug. 26.
Broward Assistant Public Defender Bernard "Bernie" Bober, filed Wednesday to run against Circuit Judge Pedro E. Dijols. Bober, 48, of Tamarac, was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982.
Former Gov. Jeb Bush appointed Dijols, 48, to the bench in December 2005. Dijols, of Davie, was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988.
Weston attorney Brian Peter Wolk is vying for Broward County Court Judge Julio E. Gonzalez Jr.'s seat.
Wolk, 41, filed to run in December. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001. Bush appointed Gonzalez, 37, to the bench in 2001.

Thought Julio was appointed in 2006..maybe I am confused.
I think the Backman case is very insightful as to how little Law Enforcement has to do, to be in the realm of "implied promise " ....
Guys at my high school would get overturned all the time as part of the state and federal justice system, it was no big deal.
