The blacks, west Indians and the majority of whites said Ian Richards. A few whites wanted to know if she was Italian . The Hispanics said Alvaros. So go to the fundraiser . She will need it! Besides, do you think only lawyers vote?
  If Barak makes it on the ballot blacks will come out in record numbers. Even if he does not win, Ian will benefit. Pedro too if the black voters see the color of his skin. I am just talking reality . By the way , I am an african american .

  Your information isn't 100% factual. I was at several events where Marina was introduced as Garcia-Wood.
  
  Small or big margin, Mardi lost out because of her reputation. She stinks in court (I've personally watched & listened to her). I also believe she was riding on the fact her husband was already a judge. Mardi said some not so nice things when she realized her time was ending in the race. After it was over, she commented in a courtroom the reason she lost was because her name was not first on the ballot. I bet if it was first, it would have made NO difference. She is a sore loser.
  
  She is no asset to the judicial race.
