Public defender candidate faces cocaine charges
"While in Tallahassee on May 2 filing last-minute papers to run for Broward County public defender, criminal defense attorney Gary Ostrow was arrested on a charge of cocaine possession, according to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement report.
Tallahassee police officers arrested Ostrow, 52, at 11:35 p.m. The report did not specify a location. The charge is a third-degree felony, punishable by up to five years in prison."

Looks like Dale & Co. really picked a fine candidate to challenge sitting Public Defender Howard Finkelstein. I'm beginning to wonder if the Broward Judiciary, more specifically, former Hail to the Chief Judge Bubba has any marbles left at all.
The decision to press Ostrow into the mixed bag that is Broward Politics has once again demonstrated the need to scrutinize our Judicial Fathers much more carefully.
As if we didn't already know, the situation within our Judiciary is shall we say DIRE INDEED. Better luck next time.
Stick to riding out your pensions and maybe spending a little more time paying attention to your cases the tax payer is footing the bill for and a little less time sullying the political process with your shenanigans.
