I saw Cathy Berkowitz in court once. A long time ago. What do they pay her anyway? What a sweet gig. Then she acts like she's doing you such a big favor when she looks at a case. "I'm sooo busy"

Nice to know Cathy has something good in her, because I don't know what's up with Cathy in this past year. To see her in court is horrid. She's got an ego so big it is disgusting. One day her mouth will land her with the IC's.

I hope she's not training any other ASA's.

She's probably po'd that a judgeship is highly unlikely now. Avalos and Ross saw to that. Now that people are paying attention Satz will have a hard time getting his gals judgeships after a relatively few years.

Cathy Berkowitz is one of the nicest people around. Can't understand how anyone could find any fault with her. She'd bring an honest, bright, and knowledgeable personality to any discussion.

I applaud Mr. Satz supporting service members returning from active duty. Now, he should support State Attorneys and Judges who support the Constitution and the Supreme Court. Oops, I forgot, this is the country where judges are for sale and subornation of perjury by the State Attorney's Office, thank you Len Swadlow, is SOP. Nevermind.

You have no clue what you are talking about. From the day Satz took office to this very day Mike Satz hates it when one of his ASAs becomes a judge.
It is judicially noticed in this County that the easiest way for an ASA to piss Satz off is to put in for Judge, to Satz you are being disloyal.
For your info Satz did not lift a finger to help Stacy Ross. Legend has it he has helped only 2 maybe 3 people become judges. The only one I know for sure is Ana Gardiner.

Judge Gardiner? Mr. Satz won't be making that mistake again.
I wonder if he still takes Bill Gardiner's calls after the fiasco. Suppose so. It's not Bill's fault either.

Lol. By the way, why does the sao need Ishoy? Budget cuts and this guy continues to draw a fat salary? How about paying good prosecutors so they stay? You know, to keep guns and violence off the street. Why can't Satz or someone else talk to the press anyway? It's not rocket science afterall.

hate to burst your bubble was right on, this is the reason why the sate prosecutors office gets more appointments the the sao. the rumor and perhaps the realiity has always existed that mike frowns upon and assistants pttting in for judge. most, who are well qualified, will not put because they fear how it might affect their futures in the
office. int past only three judges recieved help from mike, this is only conjecture, but i believe only bill d, jimmy cohn and definitely anna re
ceived his aide. others might exist but the idea was and is ,carlos had to leave the office, and after 19 years of stellar service did mike even rite a letter of reccomendation, ask him. some might think he would try to reward loyal, good servise by aiding their ateempts but not with mike.. phil shailer, the previous sa, allowed his assistants to run without fear of loosing their jobe, with mike it is the day you put in u better resign, perhaps this is why only thos with sufficient funds can resign and run..

Its great to see that Lee Cohen was recognized by MOTHERS Against Drunk Drivers. I wonder if those same MOTHERS knows that when he was at work he was banging another mother while his wife was at home. Way to go. How about an award from WOSA for banging while away from home. Wives of State Attorneys.
