So the rumors were true. Gardiner's in for trouble. It's too bad. All she suffers from is terminally bad taste in men! Desperate times require desperate measures.

Just heard. I'm I the only one working this afternoon? The place is empty. They had to let a little time go by to make it look not quite so obvious. But obvious it is anyway.

Still no lawsuit against the New Times. I thought Dutko was going to crush them like ants. Not even a retraction? Now she's off to civil a la Aleman, demoted, without any explanation. Is the JQC heat that strong?

So what. Big deal. She goes to civil.

This is not a punishment or justice. The whole sordid affair must be investigated and she should not be allowed to sit in judgement of anyone until the mess is cleared up.

If the article is true there are potentially 1000s of tainted prosecutions. If she was dating the lead prosecutor in the division all the cases must be reopened. Why is she allowed to stay on the bench at all during the investigation? This is not a case of a judge being mean or discourteous this is the worst of all possible scenarios.

Get her out now until she publicly refutes the allegations or is cleared by the authorities.

    How many potentially innocent people

She had to be moved. What are you a complete moron? She'll be lucky if they leave if she gets to stay there.
Don't count on the main stream newspapers. You think they care about what's really going on within the Courthouse scene unless its fed to them by a judge?
You've got to be kidding. These judges think they can get away with anything simply because the papers never report anything of substance to their readership.
Look at the state of this county. Look at the state of this country. You think they really care about how many prosecutors she's alleged to have slept with during a trial she was presiding over and how many cases and lives that might have adversly affected? Come on. Then when people with real commitment and ethics step up to fill public office and don't fit in with the corrupt power structure, they get attacked in not so subtle political ways like what we're seeing with the race for PD and everybody turns a blind eye to the realities and truth of the matter.
Broward County has one of the worst groups of power hungry dirty tricksters around. Jeanne was just the top of the hill as far as corrupt politicians go. Judges are certainly no better.
As a matter of fact, they are worse, and we can see that in a judicial race or two right now. Look at how angry they are at Marty Cohen and how they're threatening her husband with opposition when it's his turn for her running against a sitting judge.
These people have no bounds of decency when it comes to what they want, and as long as there is a press that doesn't care, it's going to stay that way.
That's the harsh reality of life here dealing with the Broward County Judiciary.
You think what we've seen over the last two years is something we should be proud of with our judges? It beyond disgust. But there's a great deal more going on that they are really trying to keep the lid on.
Keep your eyes on the bouncing ball. There's a few that are going to be bounced right out of the sandbox if anymore comes to light and should be. It should have never reached this point if people stood up and were counted when it comes to this sort of thing. We get what we deserve if we allow these people to run roughshod over us all. Only a few brave people have thus far stood up and told the truth, people that don't give a rip when it comes to judges holding sway over what they have in their pockets. That's the way it should be. Then there's the others that we all know ....

Amen. But don't forget about Satz. I think you would see an end to most of the problems here if he would just give up the ghost and a good man or woman could take over. Until then it's Trix for breakfast everyday as usual.

What happened to Scheinberg and the US Atty job? Is it true there was some issue in his past that Satz didn't care about?

I wonder, if Gardiner goes down, will she join Scheinberg at Rothstein Adler? Will they also hire Jenne? What an upstanding place to work!
