MESSAGE FROM BACDL PRESIDENT RUSSELL WILLIAMS

Over the past several months I have been receiving complaints regarding numerous courthouse issues.  The BACDL has been attempting to resolve, in the best manner possible, all of these issues.  One recurring problem deals with Judge O'Connor.  In an effort to attempt to rectify this problem I am asking our membership, or anyone they know who is not affiliated with our organization, to provide me with specific examples of the problems.  Some of what I hear is the length of time a lawyer is typically stuck in her courtroom.  I have also been made aware of other issues, but in order to have some credibility I need defendants names, case number, and of course your name in order to corroborate the problem.  I would prefer not to hear whining, but legitimate problems that effect the criminal defense bar.

Please contact me via email, rjwesquire@aol.com , by phone or fax.

Thank You

Russell J. Williams Esq., Pres. BACDL

Hey Russell. you want people to actually sign their name(s) to a complaint against a sitting judge?

Unless it's Conway, it's not likely to happen.
