Now Spechler has to win in court with his bogus suit, then get Tobin to give him his job back even though Tobin can't, and he has to get Crist to remove Hurley. Spechler loses again.
Broward's judiciary has reached an all-time record high point ..... for stupidity.

Jay's a good guy and will be a good judge. He won't hurt anyone. He's not a meanspirited type. In fact, if memory serves, he was an ASA with Satz who didn't fit the "kill everything you see" mold and went out on his own. Good choice.

Jay Hurley has been taught by the best, he will be a good judge like dale ross, peter weinstein, mike kaplan, he is a lawyer that understands the stress and tension that the legal profession is under when they appear in one court and then have to go to another, he has a happy go lucky demeanor always quick to tell a fun story, but you watch and see, finkelstein will look to slam him too.
Where can we find the information that finkelstein is under investigation by the state atty's office in another jurisdiction, for example where do you get the information about the governor's order appointing the outside state attorney, who is that state atty and etc. We are hearing it is the palm beach state atty's office reviewing and investigating this matter.

I enjoyed working with you at the terrific insurance defense firm, respected your honesty/integrity when you worked for the state, and appreciated your strong work ethic while handling criminal/civil cases while in private practice. The new Democratic and Republican operatives will be behind you 100%.
The old guard is gone forever. Waite till August 26, 2008 - we will control the strings. Change for the better is on the way.
I am sure you will treat the attorney's in your courtroom with dignity and respect. The State or PD will not run your courtroom.

A judicial appointment can be the culmination of a credible legal career, and Jay has been an honorable advocate and effective lawyer for over a few decade.
We can reasonably expect he will bring the same level of professionalism, dignity and decorum to the bench.
I congratulate him as I would have some of the other extraordinarily talented finalists for this post.
The hogs are really squealing. A-Turd and his office mate buddies must be feeling allot stupid about now. More good work idiots. Couldn't even get your man in over Hurley? Your political career is in the dumps, Humpty Dumpty. With no practice over the last couple of years, it won't be that bad when you're flipping burgers soon.
