Easy pick. Whichever one was a frat boy with Governor Charlie.
I was going to put in but I don't want to live in Tallahassee.
Know only a few of them.
Labarga
Would most state judges rather be a FL Supreme Court judge or a federal judge?
Maybe Hurley should apply for this one too. Wait a second, his wife didn't raise that much for Crist.
My money would be on Dudley Goodlette: worked very closely with Crist on legislation when Crist was AG, Goodlette was Rules and Policy chair in the Florida House, and now-Lt. Gov. Kottkamp was chairing House Judiciary.
Is this a combined app for both Cantero's seat, which can be filled at large, and Bell's, which has to be filled from the jurisdiction of the 1st DCA? Easily a 1st DCA judge for that seat.
Leslie Rothenberg? Do you remember when she was a circuit judge? And ran for State Attorney in Dade?
Not really.
Wasn't she the one that return Elian to his communist father? Or wasn't she Ann Bishop's partner (wink wink)?
Labarga couldn't make it to the 4th DCA. He ain't getting to the S.Ct. Boy! I've never seen so many so unqualified for the position. Scott Fingerhut? Mike Gelety? All the Miami-Dade Circuit amd 3rd DCA judges? Are you kidding me?
No, Leslie Rothenberg was not the judge in the Elian Gonzalez case, that was a federal judge. And she was not Ann Bishops's partner.
I know her. She's a real loser, real bad for us. They called her Maximum Rothenberg when she was Circuit. She's one of Jebby's girls. She's about as qualified as Avalos, another Bush fiasco. Bush sure did make a lot of bad appointments. Guarantee you Charlie ain't picking her.
Something's wrong. No word from the Insane Arreaza Cluster Poster? Baker Acted? Sh-t!!!
Where's Dorian? Told to wait for Charlie's second term?
I went to law school in Tallahassee and Judge Lewis always came by to help out students. He was a class act on and off the bench, I hope he gets it.
I'm quite sure that Judge L. Clayton Roberts will get one of the seats. The Cantero (at-large) seat is the one that's really up for grabs because the appointee can come from anywhere in the State. My guess is Kenneth Wayne Sukhia, a very prominent Tallahassee appellate lawyer.
I nominate Bidwell
