This Udolf sounds like a complete idiot. Lamack is worse as just another career politican looking for a job, and this Shak sounds like the biggest crook of them all. It's between Israel and Lamberti with more of a shift to Lamberti.

Lemack is not a "career politicians" as he's NEVER been in politics before this year and this is his first run for political office. He's a 21-year career cop and law enforcement administrator, with unblemished integrity.
As for the Hollywood PD problems, Rick retired from Hollywood PD maybe seven years ago ...... so how is he responsible for anything that happened there over the past 2-3 years?

I just got a flyer today that quotes Broward County Court documents that Lemack was a part of Sexual Discrimination and Harassment while at Hollywood PD and he was promoted over a black woman who was more qualified. It also listed all the misdoings while he was at the hollywood pd and during his time as Mayor Mara's tenure as mayor. I heard a rumor he tipped off the Hollywood PD when he heard they were being investigated by the FBI. Between this mailer and Spechler I am voting for Wiley Thompson

Lemack has been the assistant city manager in Hollywood since 2002. Prior to that he was assistant chief of police with Hollywood.
It's not bad enough that we have as many stinkers running for office of Sheriff, but now you have to have them calling your home with pre-recorded messages about how they want you to vote for them. This crap about Wiley Thompson in his phone message is an invasion of my privacy and should be against the law, if it isn't already.

This guy is one of Dale Ross' incompetent and crooked rookies. I wouldn't vote for this crook under any circumstances. He has absolutely no qualifications to run for Sheriff. As a matter of fact, I don't know that he's qualified to do anything.
All I needed to see was the former clown prince of County Court, Sprinkles, standing in a Lemack shirt to know who I wasn't going to vote for. The old tyrants and their patrons and friends need to be pushed aside for real leadership in this County.

Not in a billion years. He's a disgusting human being, commenting on someone's religion and being an all around piece of S**t on the campaign trail. Dude, I'm sorry that someone slashed the tires of your campaign manager (if that actually happened). To go nuclear crybaby as a result is pretty cheesy though.
But then again, I question whether Bruce is thinking too clearly lately. At the last several debates and forums, he's been slurring his words, has had shaky hands, and been generally out of it. It seems like a repeat of the reported behavior he showed during the time he acted as Ken Starr's attack dog after President Clinton in the 1990s. Some described him as "paranoid and depressed" back then, and questioned whether he was "on something".
Maybe the stress of this campaign has brought him back to those days. Hopefully he doesn't drive the wrong way on I-95 one night as a result, like his wonderful former FBI Agent Client who killed 2 people.

I agree. Let a straight cop do a cop's function. The less political hacks we have the better. Look what they've done for Broward. Nothing is the word that comes to mind. All they do is line their own pockets. Lamberti is going to get my vote too. He's an honest man with no agenda but to do a good job.
Broward needs to sweep out all the old jenne crew including lamberti and start fresh. We do not need the Hollywood Lamack PAC (hate mail and all) running this office. Israel gets my vote!
I hate to say it, but I have to hold my nose and vote in this race. Israel is a corrupt POS, Lemack is worse; Shaq is below both and Thompson is below them in intellectual capabilities. The sad fact is that I have not voted for a Repiglican in my life but I have to vote for Lamberti. It is unfortunate, but, that's how far the Dems have fallen.
Isreal is unreal and fake...he will do anything to get elected and promise anything to anyone...he is a POS...change parties, tells everyone he will win on the Jew ticket now that he is a registered Democrat. I have lived here since 1981. Lamberti is the first deputy I've seen rise from jailer to Sheriff. (Full disclosure-I took one college course with him and we have crossed paths a few times in 27 years.)
He survived and rose through the ranks during Stack, Butterworth, Brescher, Navarro, Cochran and Jenne.
He has held several supervisory & command positions and brings a sense of morale to the agency that I just don't see coming from the other candidates.
This doesn't make him perfect, but he will be the first Republican I have ever voted for because I think he is the best person for the job.
I am not a fan of BSO, which I think is comprised of an equal number of both boneheads and qualified dedicated people. Some joined, some were absorbed during agency mergers.
Despite this, the agency needs a cop in charge and Lamberti seems to me to be the most qualified regardless of his party affiliation.
