Your blogging rights are being curtailed.
Our friends, supporters, and even sworn enemies have had enough of your incessant, narcissistic diatribes.
While we are firm believers in unfettered, open source comments, everyone is sick to death of you infecting each and every post with your thoughts and legal briefs. From this point forward, you will not be allowed to hijack and frustrate the commentary.
That being said, we still believe in the First Amendment, and we believe it applies to everyone, regardless of race, creed, class, or mental stability. We also feel bad for you, since we know you have nowhere else left to post, and no blog of your own that anyone would care to read.
Accordingly, pursuant to our two (2) disclaimers, you are hereby expressly forbidden to comment anywhere on JAABLOG but on this post, and this post only ("AN OPEN LETTER TO JACK THOMPSON"). Because you can shoot these aliens, and they're there again the next day. You have to shoot them again. And I firmly believe that Daniel Petric had no idea, at the time he hatched this plot, that if he killed his parents, they would be dead forever.
But I believe there is hope here. I believe that it will start here and, uh, at some point when all is known about Daniel and what occurred here we will be able to achieve a greater sense of justice."

I am so happy JAABlog is taking this position. I significantly reduced how often I check out this site knowing there would be 200 Jack comments that I would have to sift through. Jack, you need to get some help.

Your previous post commented that you supported the "opinions" of a Judge who openly admitted that the introduced "experts" trying to prove the kid's mental illness FAILED to do so, yet HE feels his "OPINIONS" outweight the "expert testiplony". The judge is NOT an "expert" and his "opinions" shouldn't count for anything beyond opinion.
YET, you complain, and have even threatened to sue, that others, non-experts, call YOU mentally ill.
If it's wrong for non-experts to call YOU mentally ill, or some version thereof, then it should be wrong for this judge to make ANY type of opinion regarding someone's mental status.
Oh, I fotgot, that sociopathic religion you follow advocates lies, deceit, and misinformation. So it is, by your sociopathic version of "morality" ok to make an analysis of someone's mental state, even as a non-expert, when it's in YOUR favor.

I really like this site and this is the first time I have been here... I may have to pull away from being Atheist, because this act could only happen by the grace of God... Jack, the studies you post are bullshit, we know that. Crime rate in the US across the board has been going down for years, while gamer population is at an all time high. That is no means of causation, but more closely linked than the BS studies you post online all the time.
All in all Jack, just like the people here at jaablog, I see that you are a really great guy with great intentions. I know you mean to make the world a better place. The problem is, you are wasting time in our court systems that could be otherwise directed to more important things.
The worse thing about you is that you are making comments on things which you have know scientific proof, which would involve causation, to back you up. Only BS studies done poorly, and BS statistics done in very small numbers. Like the one you posted about stores selling games to minors, they went to 100 stores total, while there was another study that proved other wise where they went to over 1000 stores.

Jack Thompson, you are one of the countless many people in this world that attempts to force man kind to take one huge step back as a civilization, society, culture, and legal system. The first proof that there may be a God was that you were disbarred, the second is being limited to this section of this site only. I just need one more major miracle that involves you to make me believe in God again. Maybe a huge cross falling down smacking you in the head, or whatever symbol of whatever church is correct in their beliefs. I can't limit that to Christianity which is based off of one of the most easily disprovable scriptures in the world which would have broken many copyright laws if they existed 5000 years ago. I notice that the last doc filed in the FLSC case is 24Dec2008. And the last thing posted to the Federal case was 07Jan2009, which was just noting they split your Notice and Motion from 06Jan2009.

Welcome to the Club. I did this on my blog about 7 or 8 months ago and it is better for it. Remember- this is not a first amendment issue. This blog and my blog are private property. We have the right to refuse entry to anyone. As a conservative, Mr. Thompson should applaud the strict view of the absolute primacy of private property rights.
Should the time ever come where the government forbade Mr. Thompson from running his own blog, I would be the first lawyer to volunteer my services to represent him. Mr. Thompson has every right, and really should open his own blog. But as you guys have now seen, the right to be heard does not mean he has the right to spoil and infect any and every discussion, continually dragging the comments back to his own petty and private problems, 99% of which he caused on his own.

Much like the politician who, after being counterargued that there was no commercial sold game that contained rape in the US, after he claimed games contained "rape and murder", he then claimed it was a general comment along the lines of "rape, pillage, and plunder".
