I think he will be a good addition to the bench. He has represented insurance companies and victims. Being on both sides is a good thing. As for Barbara I hope she can keep a good demeanor. As a magistrate she seems to stress out very easily.

Good point. These Republican appointed judges are a lot more open minded than some of the Democrat appointees. Remember Gardiner? Or Holmes before she saw the light? Come to think of it, isn't Iron Mike a Dem too?

The 2 latest appointees, Rodriguez and Mccarthy, will not be up for election til 2012.

That will give them a little more time to prepare for their inevitable ousters as they get zeroed in on for opposition. The rest of the judges are still barricading the doors of the judicial bunkers hoping for the best as O'Connor I've heard is speaking to the Haitian Bar Asso. in attempts to shore up her sagging popularity among minority groups.
It's a far cry form the Via Dela rosa campaign method used by her in the past.

The case is USA VS Picayune Wood Treating Site and case Numger is 1:08CV 218, in U. S. District of Southern Mississipp.
These U. S. Distict Court Judges are allowing the government to file lawsuit without put the defendant’s names, the Jews & Black Families Names, and the Snyder Family Members names on the Lawsuit. The government took control of small city called Picayune, Ms.; the govrnment containment the Picayune, Ms.These Judges were out of their jurisdiction because the Snyder (Black & Jews Family) did not live within the court jurisdiction but live other states. The government own the lands next door and they have been conducted experiments on the properties without the owners knowing. The government owns the properties next to Snyder Family properties; then governments dumped from their research toxic chemicals on the Snyder Properties, and then they rearrange the Snyder Properties.
The government filed a one page template Lawsuit in U. S. District of Southern Mississippi with an unsigned, undated, no jurisdiction, No Cause of Action, Stated no Relief; Furthermore, lawsuit was not served on the owners of properties and Snyder Family. Then government racist & hate groups took the Jews & Black Families properties and restructure the properties and build road on the properties; then they removed the trees, Building Posts, fences, dumped toxic chemicals, broke the water lines and sewer Lines and replace the soils with toxic Soils. The government has destroyed the Snyder Family Properties in Picayune, Mississippi. All member of Snyder Family live in other states. The U.S. Judges did check for proof of services of in this lawsuit. These judges mailed the orders after this case was closed and dismissed.
This is case now, In the U. S. Court of Appeal in New Orleans, La. The Court of Appeal is worse than the Mississippi court because they refused to hear the case, refused to timely filing stamping the documents, & Motion; The clerks are making ruling instead of the judges. Furthermore, these clerks have no legal background and have not take one legal course. These clerks and Judges are delaying this case but the case still pending in the U. S. Court of Appeal.
Then members of hate & racist groups in government killed my brother Thomas J. Snyder; then the government took control of properties & destroying the property without a court order round about December 2007 to February 2008. Then the government went to the U. S. District court on May 28, 2008 to get a court order but government has already destroyed the Snyder property on February 16, 2008.
