I nominate...Dale Ross, jurist extraordinaire. A man who has proudly declared on the bench his legal mentor is "Bear" Bryant. A man who will save the state an unfathomable amount of money by summarily denying Writs of Habeas Corpus on the grounds of "Legally Insufficient," without the benefit of hearings, research or argument. I'm for Dale Ross, a man whose intellect is measured in inverse proportion to his arrogance. Dale Ross, the man who put kangaroo in the phrase kangaroo court. A jurist South Florida's bar members not only made, but deserves and rates.
This list is amazing. Some great candidates from Palm Beach Co such as Judges Gerber and Maas. Some very weak ones such as county court judge Corlew who is brand new and has had trouble adjusting. But he is black and a very nice guy. What about Golderberg. Isn't she the best Broward has to offer?
Palm Beach definitely has the edge over Broward in actually qualified candidates.
My vote is for Rosenberg. He is very bright.
Goldenberg or Rosenberg come on lets be real. lets pick horowitz he is a breath of fresh air and the epitomy of class and ethics. if the crist does not pick him then it is a fix and political. i know all these judges and horowitz is by far the number 1 pick Go horowitz go

Gee I wonder if the sunslantenel gives their recommendation on a 4th dca judge that our gov. should pick. intelligence would tell you that horowitz should be # 1 and rosenberg # 2. Isint goldenberg the one that ran for judge and now she wants to be an appeals judge. surprised no article on this by sunslantenel.
I can't believe my eyes. The Miami Herald is finally reporting something that is worthwhile to their readership about Broward Commissioners Stiffing the Tax Payers of Broward.
The Broward Commission should have hired Ron Book to lobby the editorial writers of the Miami Herald I guess. Don't expect a follow up story on something that affects Broward Tax Payers Negatively from the Scum Sentinel. They've probably already been lobbied.
This issue in re the Broward County Commission's decision leaving the Broward Taxpayers in the lurch is a real outrage. Every one of the Commissioners that voted for this to take place should voted out of office. Why is this allowed to happen in Broward County? Particularly under the present financial circumstances?
It's no joke. The Broward Commission sold out their constituency in my opinion.
Imperato hasn't even been a judge that long and she wants to sit on the 4th? There are much better contenders rather than pretenders.
Are all Broward Judges trying to get out of Broward?
Imperato can write out an appellate opinion faster than she can do a plea colloquy.
I do not think all broward judges are tryng to get out of broward some are but not all. lets pick HOROWITZ everyone else is not up to par with him.
Patti Valesquez can't make toast,more less appellate decisions.As she was a magistrate in Palm Beach who made poor decisions in family court.What makes her believe that she should be an appellete judge in the 4th District Court of Appeals is baffling.
You may have something there. I think judges are trying to get out of Broward. Things are really heating up again for a few of them. Several are not looking forward to contested races, and face it, wouldn't you rather sit on the 4th?
