SAO COMES CLEAN

An email was reportedly sent by Lee Cohen throughout the State Attorney's Office at 12:56 this afternoon.

The header referenced Deputy Charles Grady/Brady Notice.

Mr. Cohen reportedly stated "please be advised that the above deputy is the subject of a criminal investigation by the Broward Sheriff's Office involving female complainants and a Brady Notice must be filed in all cases where he is a witness."

The Brady Notice is reported to state that the State possesses information that may fall into the purview of Brady, stating "Deputy Charles Grady of the Broward Sheriff's Office is currently the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation by the Broward Sheriff's Office involving female complainants."

"I think basic black is the way you have to go," said Judge Dale Ross. "The reason why you wear robes to begin with is because of tradition, and the pomp and circumstance of the court. And I think when you wear a colored robe, you're breaking with tradition. If you're going to break tradition, why do we even wear them in the first place?"

when browards persecution office discloses its like the coming of the messiah!! Its front blog news and a most rare occurance! UM.....does the "disclosure" explain the exact nature of his crimes? How many Grady cases have already been resolved before Cohen was forced to disclose what apparently can no longer be buried? I give him no credit for doing what due process and the constitution requires of a civilized society. Big freakin deal....newsflash..."broward ASA complies with law"....now thats news!

I think it'd be hilarious if Lee was actually the mole.

Does it mean you're going to wear a pink robe because you're nauseating and post ignorant comments?

The real question Dale is why you ever wore a robe to begin with. Not the color of it.
  • 2/8/2009 10:37 AM Minority Choice for Dale? wrote:
Hey, Dale, Shutter disagrees with your choice of basic black. He says it's too severe. Blue is a much better color, a calmer color and he doesn't want people appearing before him to be afraid.
You're in the minority apparently on your choice of black by the look of things, but I understand your view given all the "pomp and circumstance" you think you epitomize.
It must be the only time in your life where you could ever consider yourself to be part of a minority. How does it feel?

I just gotta say that Dale must be as warped as they say he is. Can't help it. But it's strange that a guy that's had so much to say over the years about everything, and not very artfully, would comment on judge's robe colors. It just sounds stupid. I think he needs to consider retirement, and now.
