Roberts' courage to come forward have earned him bitter enemies at the courthouse -- and should earn him a medal from the Florida Bar. Instead, it earned him the bar's wrath. I learned that the bar filed its own complaint against him for failing to promptly report wrongdoing by a judge...
It looks like a way to punish a whistle blower, and it makes the bar look not like a vehicle for justice (I couldn't even type that with a straight face) but a tool of the corrupt establishment, putting a whip-cracking on those bold enough to tell truth to power...
... at a June 10 Bar hearing for Roberts, Bar counsel Juan Carlos Arias became irate with Roberts, practically yelling at him for not coming forward years before when Seidlin first asked him to buy his wife a purse for her birthday. Yeah, that's right, Arias got all red and puffy about it.
And I'm thinking, Juan Carlos Arias, eh? You mean the guy who is lifelong friends with Ana Gardiner, the disgraced Broward judge who blatantly lied under oath about her improper contact with former prosecutor Howard Scheinberg? The judge whose death-penalty case was tossed by the Florida Supreme Court because of her misconduct? Assuming what he said was true, there is still the problem that Chris willingly participated and profited greatly from HIS i.e. Chris Roberts participation in bribing a Judge. Does anyone really think that if Chris was still making money from what he was alleging happened he would have said a word? Come on. Roberts was pissed because Larry was about to get a tv show, while Chris was, is and will always be nothing more than a guy who drank a great career away. This is why he has to schlub his fat little blond son around the courthouse because he obviously cant afford child care, his wife left him, his house off Bayview is in foreclosure and he is drunk at Christopher's every weekend.
Arias is right, simple question, why did he wait so long to come clean.
If you file a bar complaint against bar counsel, doesn't the entire Bar have to recuse itself? WTF happens?

Arias is and has been nothing but a little freak trying to make something of himself for as long as he's been around which ain't been that long.
He just figured he'd make himself feel more important by imbedding himself with the Fla. Bar and has done a very poor job since he's been associated with it.

The picture is really very funny. He probably thinks he's Fred Astair. Although, he's not going to be able to dance his way to becomming a judge like he once thought. What little headway they've managed to make is sliping away pretty quick by what's been taking place with these judicial races. Nobody is going to have it handed to them for long anymore.

Juan going after a lawyer who blew the whistle on a dirty judge. That makes sense when you figure he probably could have ended Ana's judgeship if he told everything he knows about her.
The Pulp has it right. Juan probably sees his own weakness reflected in the strength and integrity of a man like Chris Roberts. He must really hate him for that.

There's also the Florida Bar Association and the branch office in Broward that has turned a blind eye or supported all the bad behavior of the Broward judges for 30 years.
They are the worst.
Vultures aren't famous for their table manners. This guy is the same. Roberts is more than a match for this punk.
They all learn their lessons well when they work for Satzie. Then they go off into the world and target the good people to keep the bad people in power.
This Juan is a weasel with nothing in mind but to become a judge through the appointment process. He lacks the courage to ever run for it. Just another one that wants something for free. But he is on the losing end of a very long list. I wouldn't bet on it Arias.
