Just what we need---a guy who swore he was brain damaged and needed a chaperoning lawyer to work his cases until his settlement came in...then he reverted to his old gadfly self screaming "HEY_HOW ARE YA" at the top of his lungs in the courthouse..he will be crushed by Luzzo.

J. Luzzo is good man, but with all respect, he is no longer up for the job. He has been through serious illness and he no longer as sharp as when I first met him long ago (neither am I). Mickey is a first rate person and a lawyer to boot. Mickey knows intimately what it is like to be on the crappy side of the case, what it like to chase client for $, and the overwhelming unequal playing field in favor of the State. It's time that "old Broward" move on to retirement. Luzzo will make a steady income as a retired Judge. GO MICKEY

Corruption of Florida Bar Disciplinary System Exposed:
Smoking Gun Regarding Hank Adorno Fire Fee Scandal Found
Former Miami lawyer Jack Thompson has received a “smoking gun” document that proves the corruption of The Florida Bar’s lawyer disciplinary system. This document helps prove the way in which the Bar “discipline” of Miami lawyer Hank Adorno for his firm’s “orchestration of a scheme to defraud the taxpayers of Miami” (per the Third District Court of Appeal’s findings) was derailed by politicos within The Bar and on the judiciary.
Forget the Scott Rothstein Ponzi scheme scandal. That’s nothing compared to the Adorno scandal, which will be shown to involve a former Florida Supreme Court Justice.
Thompson has a “deep throat” within the Adorno scandal who has divulged all.
As a result, Broward Chief Judge Victor Tobin will have to step down from presiding over the Statewide Grand Jury impaneled by the Florida Supreme Court to investigate, supposedly, government corruption in the state. Judge Tobin now will wind up being a witness in this grand jury probe, and he may eventually become a target.

had a somewhat complex hearing with Luzzo this week; he grasped all the issues , was courteous to both attorneys, was not in a hurry and ruled on the spot. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?

Luzzo has more ties to Scott Rothstein than anyone can imagine. Judge Cheapskate ate more free lunches, free dinners and free drinks at Bova with Scott Rothstein than even Adderly. Luzzo has some skeletons in his closet that will be jumping out soon. Have fun Luzzo campaigning against an honest person who will clean your clock

What do I want? I want a Judiciary that does not have a bloated sense of entitlement. I want a Judge that has some relationship to practicing law. Are Circuit Court Judge's appointed for life? No! This fine man has been sitting on the bench for somewhere around 30 + years and has clearly developed an oversized ego that allows him to think that it's perfectfly reasonable to press on with ANOTHER 6 YEARS. That's b-sh*t and exactly why our Circuit is the laughing stok of the entire nation. And it's not like his honor has been free of controversy. You and I both know it's time for J. Luzzo to move on. Mickey is no slouch. Mickey is no stranger to our town or our courthouse. He is vibrant, compassionate and would rise to the occassion if given the opportunity by the wise voters of Broward County. Do all Judges have to be Republican appointees, institutionalized State Attorneys, political hacks from Sunrise?. Let it go! GO MICKEY!

Luzzo goes the way of so many judges here in Broward go. They hang around snarfing up anything that they can get for free with Speiser and the rest of the freeloaders until someone with the guts runs against them and then they act like they are picked on.
Yeah, right. We all know better than that.
Luzzo's been at the public trough long enough and not done a very good job while there and deserves to be pushed out.
When you look at the judges in Broward you can't help but wonder where these people came from.
I really don't care where the guy goes, just as long as its off the bench. Then he can walk around being called judge and looking for handouts somewhere else.
Luzzo's about to find out he's not that important in the scheme of things.
He better start figuring out how he's gonna steal sugar off the tables at Bova Prime and anything else he can put his hands on because he's prime pickings for someone like Mickey.
Early retirement sounds like a viable option.

I love Mickey. I have told him on several occasions that he would make a great judge. He treats everyone with kindness and respect. He also really knows the law- ever have a motion to suppress against him? It could last for hours. lol he is a good person and has my vote.

You, on the other hand, fail to use your name. Good move, since you have no earthly idea what you are talking about, and since your parents would be upset if I served a summons on you in their basement.
Since you brought up being sued, Identify, if you would, the "libel" uttered against Judge Tobin. Is it that he will have to resign from presiding over the statewide grand jury and that he might become a target? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh, what a libelous prediction! He should have done that already, since he received money from Rothstein's firm (duh) and then sent out an e-mail once the Rothstein scandal broke, asking all Broward judges to cut Rothstein's firm a break. Should he resign from presiding over a grand jury investigating Rothstein's corruption? Only someone whom Rahm Emmanuel would brand would not have done so already, you putz.
As to my problems with The Bar, they are a badge of honor. You have no earthly idea what that was about, but you're about to find out.

I hear that there is a certain well funded, grey haired distinguished gentleman of jewish dissent civil attorney who has sat on the board of many charities in town who is going to file against Mindy Solomon.
Word is that some major civil firms are waking up to the Finkelstien/Kulick power grab and are going to fight back. Lebow will be next.
Guess Mindy will have a real campaign now.

OK stop the madness. Giselle Pollack is one of the best judges on the bench. Come on guys. Power grabbing is one thing but going after the good people on the bench is going to come back to bite you.
Judge Pollack has been nothing but kind, compassionate and fair with defendants with drug and/or mental health issues.
For all the talk about defendants being mistreated by the system, Judge Pollack has been nothing but heaven sent to the bench.
