We're hearing Judge Holmes has resigned her position as Chief Administrative Judge of criminal.  Judge Bidwill is rumored to have been tapped to replace her.

The reason may be "creative differences" with CJ Tobin.

Did Ilona resign in the third person?

So Bill how are you going to make this a plus for Tobin? Oh wait it involves a black, so maybe Tobin only gets a little bit of a pass

More like she's afraid she's gonna get opposition if she sticks around in criminal. Who's she kidding? You've got to be creative to have creative differences. Hum ... Why always the stupid spin in Broward? Rather have Bidwell anyway. He doesn't talk in the third person.

This will only play on a very small screen. Like who cares? Rotate all the judges and cut the favorites crap once and for all. Too many prima donnas on the bench as it is. All the other circuits in the State rotate the judges./ What's so important about Broward Judges that makes them think they should have a say in judicial rotation?

Maybe Tobin should pay attention to running the old courthouse instead of spending all his time pimping for a new building on behalf of rich aholes who don't give a crud about Broward

Its funny how Tobin cries about remarks on a public forum where anyone can write nonsense. Yet he does not mention the other bad remarks about Hispanics and Africans American. His only concern is his people.

    Yes she did.

    It went something like this:

Holmes: "Judge Holmes is resigning! Do you hear me? I said Judge Holmes is resigning!"

Tobin: "Stop being such a p--sy, would ya?"

Maybe they all should get JQC complaints. Like they didn't know about girlfriend's long line of litigant boyfriends?

Does Mily Rodriguez Powell have inside info that the JQC should know about? Friendship is one thing, but Rodriguez Powell has a duty to report unethical behavior by other lawyers and judges if she knows something happened. In her case she should talk to the authorities to make sure she is not witness to something that should be investigated. Being careful and conscientious is her duty, above any friendship, particulary one where a good friend is being prosecuted by the JQC.

I don't know what to say about her managerial skills now with Lebow on the run. If Lebow called Holmes in her latest spring board off the high dive, what kind of advice did Holmes give her other than the strange explanation she gave to the papers about there being other options.
Obviously she and Lebow had a snit. It all smells of something else. More of Broward's Judicial Mystery Saga.
Holmes took over after Gardiner was shuffled off to the place she could do the least harm and out of the spotlight after her scam came to light.
Now Lebow tanks after an alleged conversation with Holmes and Holmes sends an e-mail resigning? I ain't buying this cartload.

Maybe Holmes is as sick of dealing with these phychos as Tobin must be. I don't blame her for wanting to give someoneelse a stint in the mental ward.

There are some very competent people on the bench. Leaders of the Bar should coalesce around them and try to bring the building under control. Get the Supreme's involved.

I strongly doubt Ilona has done anything improper.
My guess is that she resigned because of the dust-up after the reported Lebow comments OR she is absolutely fed up with the dysfunction she has to deal with on a daily basis from judges who refuse to take their meds to judges who toss out a perfectly good murder cases.
p.s. Marty Bidwill for chief judge!

Ugh. I suggest that Broward County be dissolved forthwith and divided between Dade and Palm Beach, as it was before it was created in 1915, which has proven in retrospect to have been a huge mistake.

That fix is now officially in, there, too.

How is it that you all are as sick and sociopathic as ana as to be confronted with irrefutable proof-positive, presumption great and still manage to pull and blue beady-eyed rob-em carney and lie right to everyone's faces and really think ANYBODY really believes you? Would ana really believe she could get away with it if the rest of you had not set the example and the standard for her to begin with?
