Then, practice some variety of corporate kiss-ass law for another 7-10 years while slowly parlaying good-ole-boy/girl ass kissing into political capital. Then, wait for retirement from bench and start making calls to people with connections to determine if you've built up enough "juice" and satisfactorily waited your turn.
Then, if the stars are aligned, voilà, now you're part of the good-ole-boy/girl network. Then, you can quickly advance to being a completely self-important, self-centered, holier-than-thou windbag the every lawyer who appears in front of you despises and makes jokes about what a sorry piece of shit you genuinely are. a. you've put in the bare minimum 5 years,
b. never participated in any meaningful way in any social or civic organizations
c. don't own a home in Broward County or have real ties here, and,
d. are just another failing criminal defense practicioner

I agree. Whats with "I LUV COPS" Imperato, "Only Justice for vagina's" Greenhawt with no opponents. I am pretty sure most lawyers that tried cases in front of these judges know how bias they can be.

I am fairly certain you have no factual basis for those assumptions.
However, lets take the one by one, shall we?
Most of Broward County didn't seem to have a problem with a fresh young face on the electoral landscape in 2008. And by most of Broward I mean the 67% that voted for President Obama.
Also, at last check, Fort Lauderdale was in Broward County. They may have redrawn the lines in the past few minutes though, so maybe you're right. Also, assuming there is only one Jason Rosner from South Florida who went to Miami Law, graduated in 2003, and now has an office on St. Andrews Street in Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Rosner lived his almost his entire life in Coral Springs, which also, at last check, was in Broward County.
@6:16 You should know by now the legal community doesnt consider anything outside of Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood to be part of Broward County.

(A) there are numerous judges sitting on the bench in Broward (and throughout the country) who have been judges longer than Jason has practiced law and they're shit judges who are just assholes, burned out, incompetent, lazy, etc. and have zero business being on the bench. Anybody who has practiced law for more than a few years knows there are plenty of attorneys who have been practicing for only two or three years who could do a far better job on the bench than pieces of shit like Ana "is that a banana in your pants Mr. Prosecutor" Gardiner or Victor "could somebody from the BCBA please do something about that dang JAABlog" Tobin.

(C) Since when did home ownership become a prerequisite to being elected as a Judge. I don't see that listed in among the list of qualifying factors - did you?
