Hurley won in a landslide. He won overwhelmingly because the "informed" voters thought that he and other incumbents were doing a good job. The notoriety comes with his position. He works hard and treats people well.

Hurely didn't win because people are informed. Most people in this county have NO idea who these people are. They seek out people who do know, or, they vote for the person already there because the know no better. I went to someones bond hearing in front of Hurley: He seemed very fair & kinda funny, thats why the inmates like him,I know someeone else who went to bond hearing with Hurley & said he was cracking everyone up.
